How it works

1. Diagnostic. Board-level work starts with a diagnostic, which carries a bench fee that goes toward the repair. We trace the fault under magnification and with test equipment.
2. Quote. We explain what failed and what it will take, and quote before any repair work begins.
3. Repair. We replace or rework the failed components, connectors or traces with microsoldering tools.
4. Testing. We test the device or module before you pick it up.

Why it matters

Board-level repair can save a device you'd otherwise have to replace, and it can bring back a dead device long enough to rescue the photos and files on it. See data recovery. How long it takes

Board-level jobs vary a lot. Some are done quickly and others need parts ordered. We'll give you a timeline after the diagnostic.

Warranty

Our 180-day warranty covers the parts we install and our workmanship, such as a replaced HDMI port, charging port or connector. Motherboard or main board failures are not covered, and neither are liquid damage cleaning or data recovery. See the full warranty terms.
