    1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

    By utilizing the services of TechSpot LLC ("we," "us," "our," "TechSpot"), located at Fort Smith, Arkansas, you ("customer," "you," "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all repair services, including in-store repairs, mail-in repairTERMS AND CONDITIONS

    1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

    By utilizing the services of TechSpot LLC ("we," "us," "our," "TechSpot"), located at Fort Smith, Arkansas, you ("customer," "you," "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all repair services, including in-store repairs, mail-in repairs, and data recovery services.

    2. SERVICES PROVIDED

    2.1 Repair Services

    • Device diagnostics and repair for phones, tablets, computers, and gaming consoles

    • Screen replacements and LCD repairs

    • Battery replacements

    • Charging port repairs

    • Water damage restoration

    • Component-level board repairs

    • Software troubleshooting

    2.2 Data Recovery Services

    • Data retrieval from damaged devices

    • Photo and contact recovery

    • File system repairs

    • Data transfer to new devices

    2.3 Mail-In Repair Services

    • Remote diagnostic and repair services

    • Nationwide service availability

    • Prepaid return shipping on qualifying repairs

    3. SERVICE FEES AND PAYMENT

    3.1 Diagnostic Fees

    • In-Store Diagnostic Fees (Non-Refundable):

      • Phones: $40

      • Tablets/Gaming Consoles/Laptops: $60

      • Desktop Units: $149.99 plus tax

      • Gaming PC Builds: $149.99 plus tax

      • Drones: $99.99 plus tax

      • Basic General Solder Repair: $99.99 plus tax

      • Liquid Damage Cleanings: $99.99 plus tax

      • Vintage/Home Audio Equipment: $199.99 plus tax (service fee)

      • Board Level Repairs: $199.99 plus tax (service fee)

      • Diagnostic fee is included in the repair total if customer proceeds with recommended repair

    • Data Recovery: No upfront diagnostic fee, $199.99 plus tax service fee only if device is requested back after unsuccessful attempt

    • Non-refundable service fees apply to all completed repairs

    3.2 Payment Terms

    • Payment is due upon completion of service or when device is intaked

    • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and approved business checks

    • All prices are subject to change without notice

    3.3 Estimates and Quotes

    • Customer authorization required for any repairs after diagnosis or if in addition to original estimate

    • Estimates valid for 30 days from date of issue

    • Customer informed of non-refundable service repair fee before attempt begins

    4. WARRANTY TERMS

    4.1 180-Day Limited Warranty

    All repairs performed by TechSpot LLC are covered by our 180-day limited warranty from the date of service completion.

    4.2 Warranty Coverage Includes:

    • Defects in parts installed by TechSpot

    • Workmanship related to the original repair

    • Same component failures related to our repair

    4.3 Warranty Does NOT Cover:

    • Physical damage occurring after repair

    • ANY liquid damage - warranty is immediately void if device is exposed to liquid before or after repair

    • Damage from misuse, neglect, or accidents

    • Issues unrelated to the original repair

    • Software issues unless directly caused by our service

    • Jail-broken or rooted devices

    • Devices modified after our repair

    • Water damage repairs (due to nature of liquid damage)

    4.4 Warranty Claims

    • Customer must present original receipt

    • Device must be returned to TechSpot for inspection

    • No warranty service without proof of purchase

    • Warranty is non-transferable

    5. MAIL-IN REPAIR TERMS

    5.1 Shipping

    • Customer responsible for ALL shipping costs (both ways)

    • Return shipping labels are NEVER included

    • TechSpot not responsible for damage during shipping (inbound or outbound)

    • Customer must properly package device for shipping

    • Insurance recommended for high-value devices

    5.2 Mail-In Process

    • Diagnostic performed within 1-2 business days of receipt

    • Customer contacted with repair quote

    • 24-hour response time required for quote approval

    • Devices returned unrepaired if no response within 5 business days

    • $100 return fee applies to unsuccessful repairs (same as in-store)

    5.3 Mail-In Warranty Service

    • Customer pays all shipping for warranty claims

    • Same 180-day warranty terms apply

    • Liquid damage voids all warranty coverage

    6. DATA RECOVERY SPECIFIC TERMS

    6.1 No Guarantee of Recovery

    • Data recovery attempted on best-effort basis

    • No guarantee of successful recovery

    • Some data may be partially recovered

    • $100 fee applies only if device is requested back after unsuccessful attempt

    6.2 Data Privacy

    • Customer data accessed only as necessary for recovery

    • All recovered data returned to customer

    • No copies retained by TechSpot

    • Customer responsible for data backup going forward

    6.3 Recovery Fees

    • No upfront diagnostic fee

    • $100 fee only if unsuccessful and device requested back

    • Additional fees for successful recovery based on complexity

    • Customer may abandon device to avoid unsuccessful attempt fee

    • Same fee structure for in-store and mail-in services

    7. TECHSPOT PROTECTION PLUS MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

    7.1 Program Overview

    TechSpot Protection Plus is a monthly or annual subscription membership program offering repair discounts, priority scheduling, device maintenance, and a free Protection Pro screen protector at enrollment. Protection Plus is available in two tiers: Protection Plus ($14.99/month or $149.99/year) and Protection Plus Pro ($29.99/month or $299.99/year). Protection Plus is a membership discount and priority service program. It is not insurance, an extended warranty, or a device replacement plan.

    7.2 Enrollment

    Enrollment is available in store or online at www.techspotllc.com/protection-plus. There is no enrollment fee. All memberships require a 90-day minimum commitment. The customer may not cancel during the initial 90-day period. By enrolling, the customer authorizes TechSpot LLC to charge the credit card or debit card provided on file for the recurring membership fee. Card information is securely stored and processed through Square, Inc. TechSpot LLC does not store full card numbers on its own systems.

    7.3 Membership Benefits

    Protection Plus members receive a free Protection Pro screen protector applied at enrollment, a repair discount (10% for Protection Plus, 15% for Protection Plus Pro) on the service fee of one repair per quarterly benefit period (every 90 days), priority scheduling (next-day for Protection Plus, same-day when available for Protection Plus Pro), and annual device checkups (1 per year for Protection Plus, up to 5 per year for Protection Plus Pro). Protection Plus Pro members also receive one additional screen protector replacement per year and one 30-minute data backup consultation per year. The repair discount activates after the initial 90-day commitment period. The discount applies to service and labor fees only and does not apply to parts costs. Unused quarterly benefits do not roll over. Membership benefits are tied to the enrolled individual and apply to any device, not a specific device.

    7.4 Billing and Failed Payments

    Membership fees are charged automatically to the card on file at the beginning of each billing period. If a payment fails, Square will attempt to retry automatically. If payment is not resolved within 30 days, the membership will be cancelled and all benefits will cease immediately.

    7.5 Cancellation

    After the initial 90-day commitment, the customer may cancel at any time by contacting TechSpot in person, by phone at (479) 437-6111, or by email at [email protected]. Benefits remain active through the end of the current paid billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

    7.6 Limitations and Exclusions

    Membership benefits are non-transferable. Benefits may not be combined with other promotions, coupons, or discounts unless expressly stated. TechSpot LLC reserves the right to deny benefits if there is reasonable evidence of abuse, fraud, or misrepresentation. TechSpot LLC reserves the right to modify membership terms, pricing, or benefit structures with 30 days written notice to active members.

    8. LIQUID DAMAGE SPECIFIC TERMS

    8.1 Liquid Damage Repairs

    • $100 minimum fee for all liquid damage repair attempts

    • No guarantee of successful repair due to nature of liquid damage

    • Corrosion may continue after repair

    • Multiple components may fail over time

    8.2 Warranty Exclusions

    • ANY exposure to liquid voids ALL warranties immediately

    • This includes devices repaired for other issues that later experience liquid damage

    • Liquid detection indicators checked on all devices

    • Customer must disclose any liquid exposure

    8.3 Post-Repair Liquid Exposure

    • Device warranty void if exposed to ANY moisture after repair

    • This includes:

      • Rain, spills, humidity damage

      • Sweat, steam, condensation

      • Submersion or partial submersion

    • Customer assumes all risk for liquid exposure

    9. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

    9.1 Data Backup

    • Customer responsible for backing up all data before service

    • TechSpot not liable for data loss during repair

    • Data recovery services available separately

    9.2 Device Preparation

    • Remove all passwords or provide them to technician

    • Remove SIM cards and memory cards unless required for repair

    • Disclose all known issues with device

    • Remove personal items and accessories

    9.3 Accurate Information

    • Provide accurate contact information

    • Disclose any previous repairs or modifications

    • Report liquid damage or physical trauma

    • Inform us of intermittent issues

    10. ABANDONED PROPERTY

    10.1 Storage Period

    • Devices not collected within 30 days considered abandoned

    • Written notice sent to last known address/email

    • Storage fees of $5/day after 30 days

    10.2 Disposal

    • Abandoned devices disposed of after 60 days

    • Customer forfeits all rights to device

    • TechSpot may sell device to recover costs

    • Data destroyed according to privacy standards

    11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    11.1 Maximum Liability

    Our maximum liability shall not exceed the current market value of the device or the cost of repair, whichever is less.

    11.2 Exclusions

    TechSpot LLC is not liable for:

    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

    • Loss of data or software

    • Loss of use or profits

    • Damage during shipping (mail-in repairs)

    • Pre-existing conditions not related to our repair

    • Continued degradation from liquid damage

    11.3 Device Value

    • Customer acknowledges device value before service

    • High-value devices may require additional insurance

    • Customer may opt for additional coverage

    12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

    12.1 Good Faith Resolution

    Parties agree to attempt good faith resolution before legal action.

    12.2 Arbitration

    • Disputes resolved through binding arbitration

    • Arbitration conducted in Van Buren, Arkansas

    • Each party bears own costs

    • Small claims court exempted

    12.3 Governing Law

    These terms governed by Arkansas state law.

    13. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

    13.1 Customer Information

    • Personal information kept confidential

    • Information used only for service purposes

    • No sharing with third parties except as required by law

    • See separate Privacy Policy for details

    13.2 Device Content

    • Technicians may observe device content during repair

    • No intentional viewing of personal content

    • Illegal content may be reported to authorities

    14. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

    14.1 Right to Modify

    TechSpot LLC reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.

    14.2 Notification

    • Current terms available at www.techspotllc.com/terms-conditions

    • Major changes communicated to customers

    • Continued service use constitutes acceptance

    15. REFUSAL OF SERVICE

    TechSpot LLC reserves the right to refuse service for:

    • Devices with illegal content

    • Stolen devices

    • Customers who are abusive to staff

    • Devices too damaged for safe repair

    • Non-payment of previous services

    16. SPECIAL PROVISIONS

    16.1 Business Accounts

    • Volume discounts applicable

    • Priority service included

    • Separate business agreement may apply

    16.2 Insurance Claims

    • We work with device insurance providers

    • Customer responsible for deductibles

    • Insurance approval required before work

    • Direct billing available for approved claims
